Whether is beauty, skincare, fragrance, body, or haircare - Nordstrom is always my go to, one-stop shop. As most of you know by now, I'm pretty minimal when it comes to what I use in each of the categories above, but especially this time of year. There's nothing I love more than sun kissed, glowing skin and air dried hair after a summer day spent outdoors. That said, I have 5 summer staples that I rarely stray from that help me accomplish that 'no-makeup, makeup' look. Whether I'm running out to grab coffee in the mornings, laying by the pool all day with friends, or out running errands - this 5 step routine gets me by all day, everyday!One, complexion rescue. I've used this product for years and no other tinted moisturizer compares to it. The shade #5 matches my skin perfectly without giving it any fake, orange tint and it goes on smooth and even. It practically disappears into your skin, all while giving you an even glow that makes your skin look moisturized and dewy. I've gotten so many of my friends hooked on this product - it lasts 2-3 months, the price point is great, and it's the perfect base layer to your makeup routine.Two, original foundation loose powder. Another Bare Minerals product I've used for years and years! I'm telling you - nothing compares to this. Again, it's so easy to find a shade that matches your skin tone perfectly and it blends with the complexion rescue so well. Unless I'm putting on a full face, I don't love wearing concealer every day and with this powder you don't have to. The finish is silky matte and the coverage is so good. It never looks too caked on, yet gives you a golden glow that's obvious!Three, bronzer. A summer must-have for your make-up bag. I actually wear the same two products and shades above all year round, but simply add bronzer in the warmer months when I have a tan. This one is newer to me - I purchased it for the first time back in the Spring, but it quickly became a staple. It's not too dark, goes on super even, and lasts a really long time! I apply this bronzer to my cheek bones, hairline, and jawline and it give me the perfect warm, glow without looking too overdone. Especially for a quick routine - this one product is a game changer in giving you that summer glow!Four, the holy grail of brow pencils. I've tried every brow pencil under the sun (I'm a bit OCD when it comes to brows in general) and this one is the best. It's creamy, but yet still gives you defining lines when you need them and looks so natural. I like for my brows to be slightly darker than my hair and I only draw a definite line on the bottom, then brush the product up through my brows. It gives me a sharp, defining arch, while keeping the shape of my brow natural and not too drawn on. I rarely leave the house without at least doing my brows - it's the one thing that can completely change a face, in my opinion!Five, gloss. When wanting that barely-there makeup look, a good gloss is a must. Just a little pop of color on the lips can be the finishing touch you need to quickly look put together. I love how this gloss plays off of the other products too. The light, blush sheen makes my sun-kissed skin glow and my eyes really pop. I keep one in my bathroom and one in my handbag - it's something that's so easy to throw on, but makes a big difference!Don't get me wrong, sometimes I add a couple of other products into the mix, like mascara or a pretty highlighter, but these are my holy-grail, can't live without products that I swear by.
