HOW TO STYLE A COFFEE TABLE
Good Morning, friends! I'm so excited to finally be sharing the newest addition to our bedroom with you - our cocktail coffee table from Shop Anecdote! We wanted a bulkier piece for this space that would really make a statement. Our bedroom is light and airy for the most part, but the seating area is casual and intimate. The black, with subtle gold detailing, cocktail table is the perfect mix of french-chic and library cozy. It makes such a statement in our seating area and compliments the marble fireplace beautifully.Over the years, I've come to realize exactly what I want on a coffee table. I want it to be layered, have texture, and be functional. For starters, you always need a place to sit your drink down. I love this little glass box where I keep a couple of my vintage ashtrays that we like to use as coasters. It's the perfect way to display my collection, as well as gives them a functional use. Next up, endless coffee table books. Anyone who knows me knows that I'll never have enough. They inspire me, they're beautiful, and I love layering them. (Also, my favorite thing to gift!) One day, I hope to have a cozy nook, just large enough for a library full of all my favorite books. Shop Anecdote has such a beautiful, curated collection and so many of them speak to my soul. Lastly, the details. Sentimental pieces, fresh flowers (or dried for this time of year), and of course, candles! No coffee table is complete without one! Anecdote has their own line of candles and they are amazing! You know how much I love a boujee candle, but these smell just as lovely and won't break the bank. My favorites are the Italian Fig, the Santal, and the Rosemary Bergamont.
