HAPPY HOUR ON A SUMMER FRIDAY

It's no secret that John and I (+ now Linen) love two things: gathering the ones we love around our table and happy hour - especially when you put the two together.  This time of year, we quite literally live outdoors.  From working in the yard to enjoying it, it's usually the place we start and end each day, so happy hour just fits right into that.  Obviously hosting looks slightly different these days, as we change diapers and chase around our little crawler in-between champagne sips, but it's made us want to stay home and entertain in our own space even more.We were so excited when Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams reached out, introducing us to their 'Outdoor Entertaining' collection.  From the coupe glasses to the charcuterie board, each and every piece stands out in it's own way.  Such attention to detail, such well-made pieces that will last a lifetime.  We opted for the things we use most often - in our opinion, you can't host happy hour without a good cheese board to compliment your bubbly.  The Sandstone Cheese Knives perfectly pair with the Petrified Wood Cheese Board.  Both the Cheese Board and the Petrified Wood Bowl are STUNNING in person and SO study, which I love with a little one around.  (We also grabbed the matching Sandstone Bar Tools because you know J RUN loves to play bartender!)  Next up, we served champagne in these vintage-inspired Cordial Glasses.  Drinking champagne out of a beautiful glass just takes everything to a different level and this set makes me feel like I'm in a retro-bar, circa 1920.  Lastly, any good tablescape has a centerpiece and these beautiful terracotta vases were perfect for the fresh blooms we clipped from the yard.Champagne and a beautiful charcuterie board to kick off your Summer Friday night - what more can you ask for?  From Outdoor Living to Outdoor Entertaining, the Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams collection has you covered. Thanks so much for stopping by, X.Meg

Thank you to Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams for collaborating on this post + partnering with us!
