LINEN'S EASTER BASKET / ONE YEAR OLD

As y'all know, taking the time to thoughtfully put together gifts for my little (or anyone) is my love language.  This is my third year making an Easter basket for Linen (see the first here and last year's here) and it always brings me so much joy.  I can't even imagine what it will be like when she actually understands who the Easter bunny is. Haha!  Closer to time, I'm going to add a couple of sweet treats + painted eggs, but I wanted to go ahead and share the bones of the basket with you so you have plenty of time to order before the 17th of April.  Most everything ships quick and once I got it all together, it is most definitely a vibe!

As we're on the go these days, Linen loves packing a few toys in a bag to bring along with us.  I thought this floral bag from Zara was so cute (it also comes with a plastic liner that she's already playing with) and perfect for toting a couple of her favorite toys.  Even for toting pool toys this Summer, it's so cute!  The quilted gingham bag is adorable for every day or travel - we love all things Heather Taylor Home.

On the more functional side, Linen loves a light-weight blanket while riding the golf cart or cuddling up in her crib and this one is so beautiful.  I've been a fan of Parterre since they launched last year - they create such beautiful, heirloom pieces.  They also have a lovey and a matching petite pillow that would be such special gifts, too.  This neutral sippy cup (works as a bottle or a sippy, which is so nice) is perfect for throwing in her diaper bag while out and about or sending to school.

Lastly, a little something vintage - I can't leave that out!  I spotted this tin while perusing on Etsy the other day and thought it was so sweet for her room.  You probably know by this point, but she has quite a few vintage pieces from the Plaza Hotel: a brass doorknob in her nursery, a vintage photo of the hotel, a piggy bank, antique silver tea kettle and so much more.  The Plaza is one of my favorite places on earth and I love the history behind it.  Finding and collecting vintage pieces that are reminiscent of the iconic New York landmark bring me (and hopefully her, one day) so much joy!

A woven bunny rabbit to play with (she picked it out at Target the other day) and a pop-it (that's not terrible to look at) to play with and she's set!  No matter what you go with for your little's Easter basket, from inexpensive to sentimental or heirloom gifts, it's such a sweet tradition.  Be sure to check out the posts from years past (linked above) for more ideas!

Thanks so much for stopping by,

Meg
